The 6500 follows in the footsteps of its big brother, the Rubicon 9000, which cleaned up the awards at last year’s field days circuit.
The Rubicon 6500 offers a 3m-4m variable track width, a 330hp or 370hp Cummins engine and a 1.85m ground clearance. It also includes full ISOBUS, DanFoss hydraulics and full integration with the Cummins electronic system.
"We had a tremendously successful couple of days at the York Peninsula Field Days with plenty of interest in our new SPs (and) the star of the show was undoubtedly the Rubicon 6500," Hardi Australia self-propelled product manager Steve Lancaster says.
"A lot of hard work goes into launching a machine like that, so it is rewarding to be acknowledged for our Australian built innovative technology and the contribution it makes to our farming community," Lancaster adds.
Hardi Australia is based out of South Australia and features a 300-strong dealer network across Australia.
