The Magni HTH range of heavy-duty telescopic handlers is capable of handling loads of up to 45 tonnes – the heaviest of any manufacturer, the company says.

Having been designed for durability and reliability under extreme conditions, the telehandlers are being found on jobsites from Mount Isa zinc mines to Mintaro slate quarries.

Magni says that, while the HTH telehanders are tough on the outside they’re comfortable – and safe – on the inside.

“An innovative full-visibility cab design and the ability to remote control the operation of the fixed boom means that safety is at a premium,” it says, “while features such as a user-friendly touch screen display, a moveable steering column and air-conditioning mean the operator can use the HTH range with ease and comfort.”

The touchscreen displays written messages rather than alphanumeric codes, allowing easy access to functions such as dynamic load charts, drive page and air conditioning.

Other features include: lift heights of up to 20m; front, round and crab steering, a load-limit device; and a design for ease of maintenance, with the engine completely accessible from all sides.

Magni says that the HTH range is designed for use in the mining and petrochemical industries — or, indeed, any heavy industry from the construction sector though to port authorities, demolition and forestry.

“They are an excellent alternative to using large capacity forklifts and straddle carries and can be fitted with a variety of attachments such as clamps or lifting hooks for greater flexibility and cost savings on site,” the company adds.
