Marco Corra and Allan Wilkinson, who represent the sales team of the Italian brand, say the Tigre 4000 is perfect for Tasmania’s apple orchards and similar operations.

It is an ‘Isodematic Supercompact’ which is driven by a 3-cylinder Yanmar engine and which replicates, on a small scale, all the features of the brand’s top AC range, they say.

Features of the tractor include an ACTIO oscillating chassis, low centre of gravity, a small 2870mm steering radius, 275mm ground clearance, easy access and a wide, ergonomic and comfortable operator’s seat.

The hood is equipped with a large steel grill that acts as a heat exchange, while the front bumper acts as ballast and protection and is equipped with an integrated tow hook.

The Tigre 4000 has a PTO rated at 540 rpm and synchronised with all gear speeds, while the lift has a capacity up to 850kg.

"This is one of the most compact tools on the market, designed to cater for maintenance or cultivation of steep agricultural parcels, orchards and greenhouses," the Antonio Carraro team says. "The streamlined design, functional for negotiating heavy vegetation, and the ‘low muzzle’ offer perfect frontal visibility."

Turning to the 48hp TN Major tractor, the Antonio Carraro team says it is inspired by Mediterranean agriculture and is designed to work on specialised hill and mountain crops.

"Therefore, it features the stability, traction, manoeuvrability and compact size necessary for uneven and difficult terrain," it says, adding: "The TN can be fitted with different combinations of isodiametric wheels."

Like the Tigre 4000, the TN Major is designed for maximum operator comfort. The operator’s life is made easier by handles on the rear mudguards, which are useful in sloping works and also help to access the wide and unhindered driving position.
