Hardi has introduced its Paragon AL brand of sprayer booms to the Australia and New Zealand markets

The Paragon AL aluminium booms combine with Hardi’s advanced boom centres and movement dampeners, to “optimise” each boom’s performance and longevity.

Translating to “a pattern of excellence” in old French, Hardi says the name Paragon mirrors their expertise in this area.
Hardi Paragon AL booms are currently offered in widths from 24m to 48.5m, for the brand’s trailed and self-propelled sprayers
The Paragon AL aluminium booms combine with Hardi’s advanced boom centres and movement dampeners, to “optimise” each boom’s performance and longevity.
“Hardi Aluminium booms have been around for a long time and are well proven in Australia and throughout the world,” Hardi Australia’s CEO Bill Franklin says.
“There’s a lot more to a successful aluminium boom installation than just the wings,” Franklin adds. “Our experience and Hardi’s unique AutoTerrain technology means there’s virtually zero chance of a ground strike when using Hardi Paragon AL booms.”
In conjunction with Hardi AutoHeight – which automatically maintains an optimum nozzle height above the crop or the ground – the Hardi Paragon AL booms can also integrate Hardi’s H-SELECT application rate management.
The H-SELECT system controls both droplet size and rate through the broad speed range on booms over 36-metres.
“Our aluminium booms offer many advantages over steel booms and especially aluminium booms from other manufacturers,” Franklin says.
“The new branding will allow Hardi Paragon AL booms to stand out from more recent market entrants by exemplifying our unique competencies.”
