Kubota releases second Gen M7

Kubota’s popular flagship M7 tractor has received an upgrade

Kubota has taken on direct feedback from customers to improve the M-7

The new Kubota M7-2 takes over from its M7-1 predecessor and is a product of feedback from customers.

Kubota Australia senior product manager Konstantin Blersch was excited about the new M7-2’s improvements.

“We listened to what our customers had to say, took on their feedback and we’re proud to bring this new model to the market,” Blersch says.

The Kubota M7-2 has been doing the rounds overseas for some time now, and is said to be receiving plenty of interest from Aussie farmers already.

The M7-2 has two noticeable upgrades, its Closed Center Load Sensing (CCLS) hydraulic system and a new powershift transmission.

“The new sophisticated CCLS hydraulic system has a greater capacity than the M7-1, which provides unparalleled performance,” Blersch says.

“We improved the M7-1’s powershift transmission from 24-speed to 30 which will increase efficiency and with 54 speeds forward and 27 in reverse, the operator will be able to find the optimal gear for each job.”

The new M7-2 will come in three variants, the M7132, M7152 and the M7172, and will range between 130 to 175 horsepower.

Further customisable options, including multi-function levers and suspension systems, are available to improve performance and job function in the standard, deluxe and premium grade models.

“We’re proud of our M7 series both first generation and second and we’re committed to continue working towards meeting the needs of Australia’s farmers.”

The new Kubota M7-2 range is now available now across Kubota dealerships.
