Comprising of seven new models (521G, 621G, 721G, 821G, 921G, 1021G 1121G), the new G series wheel loader range will boast an array of new features, with the most exciting found under the bonnet.

That’s because the new G series wheel loader range is Stage V Euro emissions compliant, bringing the entire Case product line to Stage V.

The FPT engine powers the G series comes with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engine technology that increases fuel efficiency, keeps exhaust temperatures down and eliminates regeneration or lifetime diesel particulate filter (DPF) costs and maintenance.

The G series machines also receive an all-new operator environment, which is inspired heavily by automotive design. Inside, this new cab features the “latest” in electro-hydraulic controls, an ergonomic design and a simpler and more efficient operator interface.

A solid-state controller provides software control over electrical power distribution and basic vehicle functions and a membrane keypad replaces a series of rocker switches for common machine functions as well as a new steering console like what’s found in cars and trucks.

The G series also features a new 8-inch LCD monitor that does everything from changing displays for day and night operation to monitoring fuel levels, temperatures and pressure readings, trip information and fingertip selection of operating modes and features such as Auto Idle and Auto Shutdown. A reversing camera is an available option.

Case says this all-new operator environment with the controls and interface make the G Series the most intuitive and easy-to-operate wheel loaders they have ever produced.

G Series wheel loaders will feature a broad range of bucket and linkage options to optimize each machine to its application. Linkage options include Z-bar (best breakout force and general operation) and XT (tool carrier/parallel-lift configuration for best handling stacked/palletized materials).

Transmission-wise, the G series comes standard with a four-speed PowerShift transmission and an optional five-speed transmission with lock-up torque converter is available on the 721G, 821G and 921G which gives a top speed of 40 kph.

Each G Series unit includes a 3-year Advanced CASE SiteWatch telematics subscription and a 3-year/5,000-hour full-machine factory warranty.

More to come.
