Kramer enters the Australasian market

German machinery brand Kramer has entered the Australasian market after doing a deal with Cervus Equipment.

As in Europe, John Deere dealers in Australia and New Zealand will distribute Kramer machines. The first dealer is Cervus Equipment in Victoria and New Zealand.

Kramer-Werke GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturing company in southern Germany that places great value on its own research and development. The Kramer brand represents all wheel steer loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telehandlers with extreme manoeuvrability, stability and high degree of efficiency in material turnover for flexible and international application in agriculture, construction, gardening and landscaping, municipalities, plant hire business parks and recycling companies.

“Our company is characterised by innovative and customer-oriented product development, whereby the implementation of customer requirements should be at the forefront above anything else, with the aim to provide machines for professional application”, Kramer-Werke GmbH Managing Director Christian Stryffeler says.

“Kramer agriculture machines are developed and manufactured on site by Kramer at Pfullendorf in Germany.

“The exclusive partnership with John Deere and us as one of the leading manufacturers for compact wheel loaders and telehandlers in Europe is of great significance to us.

“We are confident that this will enable us to offer our agricultural distributors from John Deere access to an attractive addition to the existing product range.

“Our loaders are ideal for the existing demand John Deere has for progressive technology and the highest level of quality”.

Cervus Equipment

“With Cervus Equipment, a distributor of John Deere for many years with nine branches in New Zealand and seven branches in southern Australia, Kramer has gained a strong partner for its market launch.”

The first five machines in the Kramer telehandler product range – models KT276 and KT447 – made their way to the new Kramer dealer in Leongatha, Victoria in August.

Cervus Equipment Leongatha Branch Manager Allan Muirhead says they are solid machines that he expects to be popular down-under, especially with dairy farmers.

“They are a really solid German build with some impressive features,” he says.

“We are planning to demo the models we have here in mid-December in the Leongatha area and will have many more demos early next year.”

Cervus Equipment Managing Director Tim Ormrod says the company is looking forward to the partnership with Kramer and to make these machines available to our customers both in New Zealand and in Victoria.

“The Kramer product portfolio is best suited for our market and year-round application in various agricultural disciplines.”

Cervus Equipment’s customers are already able to get in touch with their responsible branch and arrange a machine demo.

Kramer telehandlers

Telehandlers from Kramer-Werke GmbH are distinguished by their continuous technical enhancement, the latest features and powerful engines. The complete range consists of 11 models; from the compact KT276 model with a payload of 2.7-tonnes and a stacking height of 6 metres to the biggest KT559 machine with a payload of 5.5-tonnes and a stacking height of 9 metres, all machines are designed to fit the needs in agricultural material handling.

“With our portfolio of telehandlers, the first Cervus Equipment distributors and a Kramer employee on-site, we are looking forward to our new beginning in Australia and New Zealand,” Kramer-Werke GmbH International Head of Sales Thomas Brogt says.

“In future, the Kramer presence in both countries will continue to be expanded so that we can provide an extensive agricultural dealer network.”
