Dieci’s Mini Agri range of telehandlers does big work in small spaces

With a maximum lift height of 5.8m and convenient vehicle handling, Dieci’s Mini Agri range of telehandlers does big work in small spaces

The Mini Agri is a 2.5-tonne vehicle with a maximum lift height of 5.8m, and can be fitted with a range of attachments for versatility around the farm.

Used to transport, lift and position light to heavy loads thanks to the presence of a hydraulically operated telescopic boom, Dieci telehandlers can perform various jobs using the same vehicle.

Unlike normal tractors with front lifting, these machines have greater visibility and can handle loads even in small areas.

Designed and created in the same Italian region as Ferrari, Dieci’s Mini Agri is equally synonymous with quality as its on-road counterparts, says the company. These ‘mini telehandlers’ are characterised by excellent handling and fluidity of movement, but do not be fooled by their size. The Mini Agri is built tough to excel in meeting the needs of small jobs such as greenhouses, nurseries, horticulture and poultry farming, explains Dieci.

The Mini Agri is a 2.5 tonne vehicle with a maximum lift height of 5.8m. The 75 horsepower (55kW) Kubota engine designed to significantly reduce fuel consumption and longer intervals between services.

Hydrostatic transmission ensures that the right speed-to-power ratio is always available, whatever the operating conditions. This model is also equipped with a single-speed gearbox, enabling the machine to accelerate smoothly and progressively to 30km/h.

The Mini Agri’s electric throttle and inching pedal allows the machine to be driven at slow, controlled speeds, even with the boom at maximum speed. An optional anti pitching Easy Ride system can also be installed on the boom, which drastically reduces oscillation when travelling over rough terrain.

Vehicle handling is made even more convenient, with all your controls in one hand thanks to the new 4-in-1 joystick. The integral travel direction control valve allows rapid shuttling between forward and reverse and the compensated flow sharing control valve allows simultaneous operation of all movements.

Dieci telehandlers are made to be tough and reliable as well as comfortable, it says. The Mini Agri’s spacious rollover protection system and falling object protection system-approved cab with multiple storage compartments has been designed to be roomy.

The cab is characterised by unparalleled technology with a new on-board computer, soundproofing, height adjustable steering and pneumatic ergonomic seat. The solid chassis has a new door made from an ultra-light composite material, providing high thermal and acoustic insulation properties for improved operator comfort.

Dieci Australia heavily invests in meeting local safety standards through the design of appropriate load charts and verifications for their complete range of machines and machine attachments.

According to the company, every one of their machines and every machine attachment combination has a design verification.

“We won’t release a product to the Australian market unless it has one,” Dieci says. “We also have an independent external engineer who signs all of those off on every new machine or attachment that comes out, including attachments that they have developed themselves.”

Furthermore, each machine is equipped with a load-limiting device that analyses vehicle stability in real time and prevents any aggravating movements. Should the pre-set limited be reached, it automatically stops all the compromising movements.

The Mini Agri’s joystick along with a capacitive deadman sensor and the operator presence sensor in the seat also prevents the risk of accidental operation of the controls.

With a wide choice of attachments available, the Mini Agri is a versatile machine that can be customised for any farm job. This model can be equipped with power take-offs, forks, buckets, forks with needles, clamp for big bales and lifting hooks, just to name a few.

The Mini Agri is available across Australia through the Dieci Australia dealer network.
