Krone introduces Swadro TC 1370 rake

Krone has launched a new delivery rake, with demand already outstripping supply ahead of the upcoming hay and silage season.

The Swadro TC 1370 rake covers more ground per hour than Krone’s Swadro1400Plus model and there is also an additional tine on the rear rotors, a higher centre frame and both larger transport and rotor wheels.

This 13.7m four-rotor system has been described as a “productive workhorse” by Krone Australia’s assistant product manager Nathan Thomas, who also says “uncompromised stability and convenience” were the company’s goals when designing the rake.

“A key feature of the Swadro TC 1370 is a new hydro-pneumatic flotation suspension system which allows users to adjust the rotor weight from the tractor cabin instead of using springs on the machine,” he says.

“This results in better and lighter ground contouring and less stress on the machine.

“Another key feature is the new integral vibration dampers with soft-down drop rate control, which gently lowers the rotors into its working position, improving the quality of feed.

“Rotors can be adjusted individually or together on the monitor via the electric height adjustment, meaning there is no need to dismount the tractor, giving the operator more control and saving valuable time.”

Krone has introduced the Swadro TC 1370 rake into its range

The Swadro TC 1370 features five tines on the rear rotors, instead of four, and both larger transport wheels and wider rotor wheels to provide better contouring and less bounce.

Other popular features of the Swadro range such as the DuraMax steep dry cam track have been carried over to the TC 1370.
