As far as rough terrain forklifts go, Manitou’s MI range serves well to supplement a rough terrain model range that already has a strong following in regional and rural areas.

Manitou’s MI range of LPG and diesel powered counterbalance forklifts was released in the country three months ago and covered working capacities from 1.8 ton 3.5 ton.

Technical journalist Matt Wood recently got his hands on the MI25D at the company’s Sydney headquarters.

While not carrying with it many extra technological bells and whistles, Wood thinks the forklift is a great no frills machine with great ergonomics, good visibility that does a spot-on job whether it be for agricultural or construction uses.

Watch the video for Matt’s verdict on the Manitou forklift M125D.
