New Holland T7.225 | Review
![]() |
The New Holland T7.225 tractor is reasonably priced and an excellent all-round performer.> Comfort in the form of New Holland’s high-quality seating package is a standout feature. When coupled with the Terraglide front-axle suspension and two-stage mechanical cab suspension, the comfort level for operators doing long days is well taken care of. See it here: |
Fendt 716 S4 Vario | Review
![]() |
Is the Fendt 716 S4 Vario really the Rolls Royce of tractors? Quit possibly and thats due to it being a well-made machine with high-quality components, excellent build quality, and high levels of operator comfort. The well-refined engine/gearbox control was the clincher for me. The benefits of this were particularly evident when pulling a Herron trailer (weighing in at 21 tonnes). See it here: ![]() |
Massey Ferguson 7720 Dyna-VT | Review
![]() |
The Massey Ferguson 7720 Dyna-VT tractor has its fair share of supporters, and justifiably so. Representing excellent value for money, it impresses with its serviceability and many top-notch specs. While the Massey Ferguson 7700 series is a relatively new model, it is largely just a continuation of the popular 7600 series with a few tweaks. The range stretches from 140hp to 255hp with two different spec levels – essential and efficient – and three different transmission options – Dyna-4, Dyna-6, and Dyna-VT. I’d say that covers all the bases. For this test I had the 7720 Dyna-VT in the efficient spec. See it here: |
Deutz-Fahr 6165 TTV Agrotron | Review
![]() |
The Deutz-Fahr 6165 TTV Agrotron tractor is one of the best-looking machines around. Its subtly aggressive-looking 6165 TTV Agrotron tractor has an unmistakably Italian-inspired design, which has been developed and refined in collaboration with Giugiaro Design. At only 165hp, the 6165 is classed as one of the babies of the brand’s future line-up of tractors. See it here: |
Kubota M7-171 Premium KVT | Review
![]() |
Kubota has earned a solid, long-standing reputation in the smaller horsepower tractor market. But it's currently eying off the higher horsepower market - and the addition of the M7-171 is an impressive start. High-quality and tried-and-tested components have been used throughout, offering peace of mind to potential owners. There is excellent visibility from the cab and an impressive amount of functionality has been combined with ease of operation for an enjoyable operating experience. See it here: |
Claas Axion 930
![]() |
The Claas Axion 930 has plenty of horses under the bonnet. A machine equipped with the latest technology and plenty of bells and whistles. Initial standout features were the tractor’s power and stability. Hooked up to a 21-tonne Herron trailer and 3.5m Sumo Trio, this machine was equally at home working in the paddocks with heavy-tillage equipment as hauling heavy silage loads and transport work.
