The Rinieri range of vineyard and orchard pruners, now available through Inlon Tractors & Farm Machinery, will help tractor operators keep a clear view ahead.
A new range of vineyard trimyard attachments have been designed to operate better on slopes while offering better visibility to tractor operators, the manufacturer says.
Italian manufacturer Rinieri’s CRL Vision trimming machines are built with a heavy-duty side shift on the bearings and better performing inclination of vertical bars, which the manufacturer says makes them suitable for use in the hills.
Australian importer Inlon Tractors & Farm Machinery is importing two models, the CRL Vision 1 single-sided trimmer, and the CRV Vision 2 double sided trimmer, both of which are designed to affix to the front of a vineyard tractor.
The CRL Vision 1 has two trimmers attached to a single side post, offering the driver clear central vision ahead, while the CRV Vision 2 has two trimmers on two posts – angled in such a way as to provide maximum visibility.
Built with heavy duty construction and a mounting bracket adapted to suit a tractor’s front weight mount, both models can be fitted with many different attachments, including sickle bars, barrel pruners, skirt cutters, lower sucker removers or single sided trimmer cutter bars – as pictured here.
The CRV Vision 2 has got the ability to hydraulically adjust vertical bars at different heights to perfectly match the needs of plants situated in soils with side slopes, Rinieri says, with a spring-dumper to cushion violent strokes.
Both models require hydraulic flows of between 25-35l/min to operate, though an optional power take off hydraulic pack is available, and both can be controlled by a joystick from within the tractor cabin.
Inlon sales and marketing manager Gary Surman says the Rinieri models will help tractor operators better manage the trimming and pruning process.
“This is a vision model that will be mounted, so you will have clear vision through from the tractor… and then you will have a joystick control that will do all the functions of the cutting heads,” he says.
