  • RefCode: TA848250
  • Class: Chisel Ploughs

The Minos Agri CZ-M Chisel Plough is available with 5, 9, 11 or 13 tines and is mounted to tractors by a three-point linkage system. In comparison with other chisels, non-soldered steel rolled iron is used for the tines. Since it swells the soil without turning over it, decomposition of organic materials is too slow and damp soil is not removed to the top. Since stubble and plant residuals scratch the surface, a good upper layer composes. It is very effective against weeds that are robust and develop roots. It can be used successfully in heavy soils where other materials are insufficient in terms of quality and capacity. While chisel swells the soil in ploughing depth and stubble stays on the land surface, it provides a protective impact against water and wind erosion. If the soil is wet and damp, it should be avoided to use this tool. The main functions of these chisel type ploughs are breaking hard bottom soil which is formed by ploughing and processing soil without tipping and airing. In case of sudden pressure, safety pins come into action and prevent the tractor and chassis from damage. Tines are designed to get the maximum output from your tractor by giving them the most appropriate submersion angle. Specifications - CZ-7-M Number Of Tines: 7 Angle Of Penetration: 30 Degrees Total Height: 1300mm Working Depth: 150-350 mm Furrow Distance: 275 mm Working Width: 175cm Machine Weight: 550 kg Required Tractor Power: 75-80 HP Machine/Equipment base price only, additional price for optional extras. The stump jump chisel plough is an ideal tool for primary cultivation. The spring action of the tines and chisel points have been proven to penetrate where many other machines find conditions too hard.

The coil tines are 30mm square, and are used for primary and secondary cultivation. They are ideal where deep penetration is required without bringing subsoil up to the surface. They are commonly used in market garden operations to penetrate beneath the normal level of cultivation. The coil allows the tine to move, assisting penetration and reducing horsepower needed. Coil tines do not disturb the surface as much as the wider chisel plough tines. This is useful in operations as pasture renovation and plough or rotary hoe pan breaking. The finer tine is also good for secondary cultivation where a heavy machine is needed for heavy soils. Overall width of the machine is 9 wider than the cut width ie: 5 tine is 5 9, 7 tine is 7' 9' and so on.

The rigid chisel plough is used in a similar fashion to the stump jump as a primary cultivator. The rigid tine is harder to pull as it has not got the jack hammering effect of the stump jump tine. It should also be used in country which is known to be clean, as the tine is clamped onto the frame and will only shear the clamp bolts under load. The tines are extremely strong for this reason, using the same tines as the stump jump plough. The machine is ideal for lighter sandy soils where penetration and draft are not a problem.
