The rigid chisel plough is used in a similar fashion to the stump jump as a primary cultivator. The rigid tine is harder to pull as it has not got the jack hammering effect of the stump jump tine. It should also be used in country which is known to be clean, as the tine is clamped onto the frame and will only shear the clamp bolts under load.
The CZ-M Chisel Plough is available with 5, 7, 9 or 13 tines and is mounted to tractors by a three-point linkage system. In comparison with other chisels, non-soldered steel rolled iron is used for the tines. Since it swells the soil without turning over it, decomposition of organic materials is too slow and damp soil is not removed to the top. Since stubble and plant residuals scratch the surface, a good upper layer composes. It is very effective against weeds that are robust and develop roots. It can be used successfully in heavy soils where other materials are insufficient in terms of quality and capacity. While chisel swells the soil in ploughing depth and stubble stays on the land surface, it provides a protective impact against water and wind erosion. If the soil is wet and damp, it should be avoided to use this tool. The main functions of these chisel type ploughs are breaking hard bottom soil which is formed by ploughing and processing soil without tipping and airing. In case of sudden pressure, safety pins come into action and prevent the tractor and chassis from damaged. Tines are designed to get the maximum output from your tractor by giving them the most appropriate submersion angle. The stump jump chisel plough is an ideal tool for primary cultivation. The spring action of the tines and chisel points have been proven to penetrate where many other machines find conditions too hard.
