The newly released G2E trailed sprayer from Silvan will suit the needs of vineyards, horticulture and orchard operations.
Silvan Australia’s 4000 litre capacity sprayer boasts design changes to enable simplified operation, maintenance and a more compact size.
The new G2E model is 500mm shorter in length than its ‘big brother’ the state of the art G2 Supaflo sprayer.
It offers improved access to the pump and valve bank with a new, removable front cover the mixer drawer has been eliminated.
The new sprayer is supplied with the patented Powerhead spray combination of a 920mm axial flow type ten blade fan with flip over nozzles for dilute or concentrate spraying.
An alternative option is the patented Radak conveyor which meets the spray needs of taller trees such as avocados, macadamias and mangoes.
The G2E employs a Polytuff impact resistant polyethylene tank with level indicator and top and bottom fill Camlock fittings.
There is also a 60 litre capacity Polytuff hand wash tank for operator use.
Chemical induction is via a venturi suction probe with pump bypass agitation and venturi agitator.
The complete unit is carried on a heavy duty galvanised steel frame and stand with adjustable drawbar.
Dimensions of the G2E are length 5050mm, width 1880mm, height 2020mm and the all up dry weight is 1220 kgs.
Silvan Australia’s spraying specialist Gavin Wheatcroft says the Silvan G2E is available with two pump choices of 182 or 249 litres per minute.
“Additional options available include a tandem suspension axle, flotation tyres and a Bravo automatic rate controller,” Wheatcroft says.
