California’s World Ag Expo, which bills itself as “a marketplace and a celebration of all things ag”, is celebrating its 50th anniversary from February 14-16 2017.
“We are here to encourage the newest conversations, inventions and innovations in the world of ag so that the dealer, the producer and the consumer can all come out on top,” organisers say.
“When our exhibitors succeed, our attendees and farmers transform their operation, and consumers all over the world are positively impacted by the increased efficiency and the continuous re-evaluation of ‘what we’ve always done’.”
The three-day show attracted record numbers in 2016, housing over 1,500 exhibitors and hosting over 106,000 attendees in the 242,000 square metres (24ha) of exhibition space at Tulare’s International Agri-Center.
Show attractions include tours to a local dairy, a winery/orchard, a University of California citrus research centre, citrus farm and nursery, a citrus packing house and a feed mill.
